Robert Anderson

Robert "Bubby" Anderson, 77, of Brazoria passed from this life at his home on August 27, 2015. He was born in Brazoria on Feb. 8, 1938 to Sailor and Lorene Anderson. Bubby was a retired cook who worked for various companies including Dow Reservoir, Plantation House, the Mobil Search and Gallant Fox vessels. He also loved cook-offs, cooking for family and friends, along with hunting, fishing and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Sue of Brazoria; daughters, Linda Wynans of Nashville, Tennessee, Terrie Bennett of Beaumont, Debbie Clark & husband, Danny of Brazoria; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; aunts, Elsie Wallace & Hazel Carrington and a host of nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Charmaine Dunbar; 2 brothers, James and Paul; and a grandson, Richard Louis Wynans. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria with Bro. Harold Williams officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Moore, Kevin Clark, Jason Clark, Jody Clark, Kaylor Clark, Quincy Chambliss, and Larry Franklin Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Duane Angell, Jason Jurek, Glenford Strother, Steve Jones, Jimmy Clark and Larry Franklin Sr. The family wishes to give special thanks to Terry Bailey, Jason Jurek, Laura Hall, Duane Angell, Derrell Travis, Steven Taylor, A Med Hospice, New Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, Victory Fellowship Cowboy Church and all other friends and family for their support.
