Robert Boeker, Sr.

Robert Lee Boeker, Sr., 87 of Cedar Lane, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 17, 1931 in Los Angeles, Texas to Oscar and Mary (Richter) Boeker. Robert served proudly in the United States Navy aboard the Lindenwald ship. He was a honest and hardworking man. Robert worked for Dow for 30 years, was a cattle rancher, roughneck, and longshoreman.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria with Pastor Ernie Hutchings officiating. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm also at the funeral home.

Robert is survived by his wife, Eleanor Catherine Smith Boeker; daughter, Mary Ann Prihoda (Jimmy); son, Robert Lee Boeker, Jr. (Evelyn); oldest brother, Ralph Boeker (Doris); grandchildren, Michael Lee Sanders, Jimmy Lee Prihoda, Jene Danford, Christie Mattos, Sharon and Paul Boeker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie; and brothers, Oscar and Charlie Boeker.
