Robert Humbird

Robert "Bobby" Walter Humbird, 65 went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 8, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bobby leaves behind the love of his life, Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Walch Humbird to whom he was married to for 46 years; his sons, Brandell Humbird; Ryan Humbird and wife, Daniella Humbird; daughter, Crystal Humbird; grandchildren: Katy Dent; Kelsi Humbird; Kary Dent; Jacob Dent; Gabby Valenti; Bryce Humbird; Derek Humbird; Annabell Humbird and extended family, Kevin Dent and Denise Humbird.

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Walter Humbird and mother, Annie Joyce Morton Humbird.

Born August 28, 1953 in El Campo, Texas; Bobby was raised in Ganado, Tx where he met and married his Jr High sweetheart, Kathy. After serving 6 years in the National Guard Bob and Kathy settled and raised their children in West Columbia, Texas where they are both loved figures in the community. He loved his dogs, Minnie and Bo; passing on his love for animals to his grandchildren.

As a family we are comforted by the knowledge that we will see him again. Heaven has truly gained an angel and his laughter and smile will forever ring in our hearts.

Pallbearers will be Bill Orsak, Bryce Humbird, Casey Jones, Cole Walch, Derek Humbird, Jacob Dent, Jeffrey Matus, Jon Michael Matus and Kyle Young.

Visitation will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in West Columbia on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am; Rosary will begin at 10:00 am. The mass will begin at 11:00 am officiated by Father Daniel Baguio.
