Ronald Carroll

Ronald Carroll, 78, of West Columbia, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 9, 2022. He was born January 14, 1944, in Sugar Land, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Doris and Adell Carroll.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn Carroll, sons Ronald Carroll, Jr and wife Emma, and Gary Carroll and wife Jody, grandchildren Kristina and husband Justin, and Tyler and wife Katelyn; step grandchildren Jennifer and Kari and seven great grandchildren.

Ronald was a longtime businessman who loved his cattle and fishing. Over the years he owned and operated the following businesses in West Columbia, TX, Carroll’s Exxon, Carroll’s Texaco, Ronald Carroll Automotive, Ron’s Auto Parts, and Carroll Auto.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Bar X Ranch Lake House, 1701 Quarter Horse Trail, in Angleton, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude’s.
