Sam Kilsby

Sam Joe Kilsby, 69 of West Columbia, Texas passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He was born February 14, 1948 in Freeport, Texas to Hulon and Lou Elaine (Vittitow) Kilsby. He was a historical site restorer for the State of Texas and served in the United States Navy from 1966-1969.

He is survived by his brother, Johnny Ray Kilsby; niece Amanda Wyszkowski; and nephew, Darrin Kilsby. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Baker Funeral Chapel in West Columbia with Kirk Betz officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia. Serving as pallbearers are Guy Paul, Lloyd Daring, Carroll Conoway, Marvin Kilsby, Ronnie Burrows, and Vic Vera.
