Sandra Edwards

Sandra (GiGi) Marvel Hollahan Mullennix Edwards of Damon, Texas went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April, 4, 2019. She was born in El Paso, Texas on July 11, 1942 to Thomas Morris Hollahan and Winifred Taylor. She married Sgt USMC Earl Mullennix November 1966 - 1984. She later married Ron Edwards.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are: her children - Bobby Mullennix and wife PJ Shipman/Mullennix of Damon, TX, Diane Mullennix Milburn and husband George Milburn of Crystal Beach, TX, Ann Mullennix of Houston, TX, and Sharon Mullennix Brown and husband Samuel Brown of Nolensville, TN. She had eight grandchildren - SSgt Brandon Lee Mullennix-USAF, Justin Mullennix, Kristin Willis, Brittany and husband Jared Sheffield, Vivian Milburn Scott and husband Michael Scott, Clifford and Kerby Vickery, and Alex Brown; 3 great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Travis, and Madilyn Sheffield; her adopted dog Zoey and a long list of friends, all of whom she considered family.

Gigi was true Texas - tough as they come but with a heart the size of the state. She brightened the lives of all her family and friends and loved living her life. Gigi enjoyed being outside and on the go - whether it be riding with Bobby around the countryside in his wagon, running the roads with PJ, sitting on the beach or having lunch somewhere with Diane, Ann, and Sharon, or hanging out with her friends. And, when the sun went down and everyone had gone to bed, there was always a John Wayne movie or the Rifleman.

Loving to all and loved by all, God received a new angel today.

Services will be Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery.
