Sharon Corley

Sharon Ann Corley, 72, of Brazoria, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at her favorite place, the River House, where she enjoyed cooking, crafting, and creating beautiful memories for her family. She was born on February 26, 1947 in Freeport, Texas to Joe and Norma (Bing) Hughes.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Brazoria First Assembly with Pastor Jamie Hill officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am until service time at the church. Honorary pallbearers will be Emily McDougal, Rochelle Murray, Dan Swords, Ken Jo Kelly, Sherry Kersh, Gary Kersh, Angie Gaskill, and Tod Gaskill.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ken Corley; son, Kenneth J. Corley and wife, Donna Jo; daughter, Melissa Kim Stanley and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Destiny Crocker, Dylan Corley, Dexi Corley, Kaden Pate, Brenna Godlevsky, and Jarrod Stanley; great-grandchildren, Hannah Schut, Briella Godlevsky, Kimber Godlevsky, and Colt Godlevsky; along with one niece, two nephews, and other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Jo Schulz.
