Sharon Geneva (Stephenson) Palmer, born to Olyn and Martha (Montgomery) Stephenson on January 21, 1948 in Green Hill, Ark., passed away at the age of 72 on August 26, 2020.

Sharon graduated from Brazosport High School in 1967, where she met and then later married the love of her life, Gerald (Gary/Gump) Palmer on April 13, 1968. Together they raised two sons, Michael and Shannon Palmer, and daughter Misti (Palmer) Roy. She made a career as an electrician working for DOW and, following her retirement, she co-owned a local family restaurant, “Three P’s in a Pod”, where she shared her amazing recipes and cooking.

She was very involved at Wild Peach Community Church by attending services in person or via the internet, planning and cooking meals, participating in her beloved women’s group, and performing or supervising the electrical needs of the buildings or of various church members homes. She loved spending time with her family, especially her 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed taking all types of trips and was able to enjoy 3 cruises before she became too ill to travel.
