Steven Symm

Steven Carl “Steve” Symm passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the age of 57. Steve was born June 3, 1964, to Richard and Dolores Symm in Freeport, Texas. He grew up in Lake Jackson, TX and was a Brazoswood High School graduate, Class of 1982. He lived most of his adult life in Sweeny, Texas and worked at Aqua Classic Pools & Spas. As a nature lover, Steve was never happier than when he was hunting in Three Rivers, TX, fishing, grilling, and standing around drinking a beer with friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory is his forever love and best friend, Beth Sarles; children, Seth Symm, Mackenzie Symm, Morgan Wilson (Chris), and Meghan Saenz; grandchildren, Zoyie, Athena, and Tahlia Symm, Grayson and Graham Wilson, and Audrey Garcia; mother, Dolores Wilhelm; siblings, John Symm and Joan Kimber (Greg); uncles/aunts David Symm (Mary), Ron McCreless (Lynn), Russell Peterson (Betty); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; as well as his beloved dogs.

Steve is preceded in death by his father Richard Symm, son Steven Allen Symm, stepfather Norbert Wilhelm, and stepmother Loretta Symm.

The family would like to thank the staff of UTMB Angleton Danbury Hospital for their kindness, compassion, and service.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, 634 S. Columbia Dr., in West Columbia, Texas with memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
