Viola Kutej

Viola Fay (Zeman) Kutej passed away in Clute on Feb. 18, 2016. She was born August 19, 1926 in Guy, Texas to Willie and Karolina Zeman.

She is survived by her children, Carol Fabrygel & husband, Larry, Ronald Kutej & wife, Darla, Michael Kutej & wife, Bea, and Alvin Kutej; sister, Vlasta Smerek; sister in law, Inez Zeman; special friend, Nancy Kutej; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard Kutej; brother, Alfred Zeman; twin sister, Elanora Matula.

Funeral services will be held on Tues. February 23, 2016 at 10:00 am at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Chaplain Thomas Lester officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Bart and Franklin Fabrygel, Michael and Alvin Kutej, Bryon Ford and Ronald Kutej. Honorary pallbearers are Todd and Kaleb Kutej.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Viola's name to St. Jude's or Texas Children's Hospital.
