Wayne Lee Crosson

Wayne Lee Crosson, 82 of Sweeny Texas passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025. Wayne had his wife of 61 years near and other loved ones.

Geraldine Crosson, wife to Wayne for 61years.

Alan Wade Crosson of Sweeny, Texas.

Kim Lynette Orchard of Sweeny, Texas.

Siblings:

Jerrel Crosson, brother, of Lake Jackson.

Mike Crosson, brother, of Lake Jackson.

Ricky Crosson, brother from Colorado.

Sharon Hardaway, sister of Sweeny Texas.

Brenda Quinn, sister of Sweeny Texas.

Wayne is also survive by many other relative including 6 grand children and 8 great grandchildren.

Wayne was preceded in death by his Father and Mother. George Finis Crosson and Esta Lee Crosson.

Wayne was born on July 13, 1942. Born in Austin Texas, to parents George Finis Crosson and Esta Lee Crosson.

Wayne's education was mostly in Sweeny Texas. He liked reading and being in the band.

On January 22, 1962 Wayne served his country for four years. Wayne received an honorable discharge on January 21, 1966.

In the same year Wayne started work for Phillips Petroleum Company. Starting in 1966, Wayne retired from Phillips.

Wayne was interested in many things, loved reading to learn on many subjects.

He was a huge sports fan. He loved the Texas Longhorns sports teams. Also a huge Cowboys, Astros, and Rockets fan. He also had a passion for restoring cars. He was meticulous his entire life with keeping his vehicle clean and detailed always, as well as the lawn. Many other things could be mentioned from golf to travel. One of his greatest travel feats, was organizing a 3 week vacation, before the days of computers, or cell phones. Lastly, he loved family. Many a grand child, great grand child loved to set in Pap Paws lap.
